Part-Time Phlebotomist

Work Schedule
Part-Time, 20 hours/ week Monday – Friday, 8:30a-12:30p, with rotating Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all age groups.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred
- Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred
Skills
- Moderate knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
