Part-Time Pharmacy Technician Lead

Role Overview The Pharmacy Technician Lead oversees pharmacy technician staff, providing technical guidance, workflow organization, scheduling, and vacation coverage. They are responsible for training, mentoring, and evaluating technicians, ensuring quality control and supporting problem resolution and project management activities. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technician functionsDevelop schedules and manage technician training and developmentProvide technical leadership and support quality improvement initiativesAssess patient data and interpret information based on age-specific needs Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GEDAt least two years of pharmacy technician experience, with preferred Mayo experienceCurrent Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) and licensure by the State BoardKnowledge of pharmacy and medical terminologyStrong communication, interpersonal, and advanced computer skillsAbility to interpret physician prescriptions and orders Additional Requirements Completion of continuing education for certification maintenanceCompliance with institutional policies and regulatory guidelines Position Details Full-time role with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week, every other weekend, between 2:00 pm and 10:30 pm. Compensation ranges from $25.21 to $36.82 per hour, with benefits included.
