About the role

We seek a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Schedule

This is a Part-Time role working 16 hours per week. The scheduled days are Monday and Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST, with a 30-minute lunch break from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM CST. The manager is open to adjusting the two workdays if Monday and Friday do not work for you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
  • Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Make deliveries when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Michigan
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
  • Ability to use own vehicle to make deliveries when needed

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
