About the role

We seek a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Schedule

Part-time with 20 hours guaranteed weekly, with potential to flex up to 40 hours weekly based on business need. Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nebraska or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work onsite at 4321 41st Ave. Columbus, NE
• Ability to work part-time with 20 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am–5:00pm

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16–$29 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
