About the role
We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Schedule
- Part-time with 16 hours guaranteed weekly with potential to flex up to 40 hours weekly at other sites based on business need
- Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
- Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
- Ability to make local deliveries as needed
- Ability to work onsite at 211 Biede Ave. Room 103 Defiance, OH
- Ability to work part time with 16 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am–5:00pm
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
- Ability to cover at Van Wert, OH location as needed

Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
