Part-time Pharmacist

About the role

Acts as a pharmacist at the retail pharmacy, ensuring accurate and safe medication services by interpreting prescriptions, evaluating drug interactions, and providing counseling to patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy operations and supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Delegate tasks to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians on drug therapy, formulary management, and medication optimization.
• Prepare specialized medications, including compounding, IV admixtures, and chemotherapeutics using aseptic techniques.
• Assist in inventory management and procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain comprehensive medication profiles.
• Promote continuous improvement in pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (required)
