Responsibilities

• Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Issue permits for new construction and renovations.
• Communicate with contractors and property owners regarding permit requirements and inspections.
• Keep records of all issued permits and inspection reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in construction or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
