Part Time Periodontics Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Set up treatment areas, sterilize equipment, and keep workspaces tidy.
• Inform patients about good oral hygiene practices and post-procedure care.
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating and fulfilling their needs.
• Efficiently manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• At least one to three years of previous dental assisting experience.
• Some experience in periodontics is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities and a friendly, caring demeanor.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus.

Requirements

• Michigan residents must provide proof of X-ray training certification upon hire.
• If certification is not available at the time of hiring, it must be submitted within eight weeks.

Schedule

Part-time schedule: Tuesdays from 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM.
