Part Time Pediatric Dental Assistant

About the role

As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will support the doctor during pediatric procedures while helping children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply; however, some dental experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the doctor during pediatric dental procedures
• Helping children feel calm, comfortable, and supported
• Preparing and turning over treatment rooms
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection-control standards
• Supporting charting and documentation as needed
• Working closely with the dental team to keep the day running smoothly
• Creating a welcoming, kid-friendly experience for patients and families

Requirements

• Comfortable and passionate about working with children
• Some dental experience required
• Available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Positive, patient, and friendly attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
• CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
• Willingness to travel between office locations with reliable transportation

Pay

$18–$19/hour, depending on experience. $750 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Final pay will be determined by the hiring manager based on the candidate’s experience, skills, certifications, and training.

Schedule

Part-time schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
