Part Time Pathologist (MD/DO)

Role Overview: A part-time Pathologist providing comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology services at a hospital setting, supporting high-quality patient care, diagnostic efficiency, and collaboration with clinical staff. Key Responsibilities Interpretation of surgical pathology specimens, biopsies, intraoperative frozen sections, and cytology (e.g., FNA).Generate accurate, timely pathology reports meeting established turnaround times.Serve as an on-site resource for surgical teams and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.Collaborate with subspecialty pathologists and central services for complex cases.Maintain hospital coverage, participate in call duties, and support case flow coordination.Utilize hospital systems like EPIC for documentation and communication. Qualifications And Skills MD or DO from an accredited medical school, board-certified or eligible in AP/CP.Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in North Carolina.Competent in general surgical pathology with strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred: hospital pathology experience, familiarity with EPIC, and knowledge of integrated delivery systems.
