About the role

Part-time Physician specializing in medication-assisted treatment for adults with opioid use disorder in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and manage medication dosages for methadone and buprenorphine.
• Monitor patient safety and progress throughout treatment.
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support.
• Maintain regulatory-compliant documentation, review labs and PDMP data.
• Provide patient education on treatment and recovery.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care quality.

Qualifications & Skills

• Medical degree and valid license to practice medicine.
• Experience or training in addiction medicine or opioid use disorder treatment preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, and patient management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused, patient-centered environment.
