About the role
Provide safe and efficient patient transport via air medical services, including scene call work.
Responsibilities
- Complete electronic patient care records
- Perform daily base checks
- Deliver advanced life support from initial contact to hospital transfer
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and equipment knowledge
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, and hospitals
- Participate in pre-mission briefings
- Assist with aircraft safety and ensure safety standards are met before liftoff
- Fill open shifts as needed
Requirements
- Minimum three years’ experience in 911 or critical care settings
- Current EMT-P license in the assigned area
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma
- Preferred: FP-C certification (obtained within 24 months), instructor certifications, NREMT-P in some areas
