About the role
Seeking a PRN EMT with Paramedic certification to provide advanced emergency medical services.
Responsibilities
- Administer ALS care
- Conduct triage
- Facilitate critical care transportation to healthcare facilities
- Assist emergency department staff
- Perform invasive and noninvasive procedures
- Administer medications as directed
- Plan and provide care for patients affected by environmental hazards such as nuclear, chemical, or biological threats
- Assist with security tasks, including verifying hospital entrances and supporting law enforcement if needed
Requirements
- At least 2 years of applicable experience
- Valid driver’s license (KS)
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Licensed Paramedic in Kansas
- Strong emergency care skills
- Ability to work under arduous conditions
- Excellent judgment
