Part-Time Package Handler

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and sort freight accurately and efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
• Hand-pick packages from vehicles and scan barcodes for tracking.
• Sort packages by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight in trailers to optimize space and prevent damage.
• Maintain fleet vehicles through washing.
• Uphold a clean, safe warehouse environment with light custodial duties.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to read labels quickly and work independently.
• Physical capability to bend, lift (up to 50 pounds regularly, 100 pounds occasionally), and handle various freight types, including hazardous materials and perishable goods.

Pay

Hourly wage ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 based on experience.
