Part time P401 Qualified Laboratory Bulk Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities

• Undertake bulk analysis of suspect asbestos containing materials using polarised light microscopy in line with ISO 17025 accreditation.
• Receive samples from site.
• Prepare samples for analysis.
• Record analytical findings on TEAMS.
• Issue results internally and externally.

Person Specification

• Hold a BOHS P401 (or equivalent).
• Possess 5 GCSEs including Maths and English.
• Have demonstrable Asbestos Laboratory experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• Experience of the TEAMS Asbestos Management System is advantageous but not essential.
• Possess demonstrable organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communicator with people at all levels.
• Experienced in delivering excellent customer service.

What We Can Offer You

• Hours of work: 20 per week, Monday to Friday, 1.00pm to 5.00pm.
• Annual salary starting from £14,560.00 (£14.00 per hour) to £15,069.60 (£14.49) based on industry experience and qualifications.
