Part Time Overnight Private Dining Server

About the role

The Private Dining Server plays a crucial part in creating an exceptional dining experience for guests at Raffles Boston. This position requires a deep understanding of menus and current specials, along with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests.
• Set up and deliver guests' orders and requests.
• Ensure all Private Dining equipment is well-maintained.
• Breakdown Private Dining tables and linen according to established standards.
• Receive and deliver food and beverage orders.
• Submit daily requisitions of items needed for the operation.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• At least 2 years of food and beverage serving and/or related experience at a luxury hotel or restaurant.
• Flexible and able to work long hours.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and maneuver with a Private Dining table or service tray.

Physical Requirements

• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
