Part Time Overnight Grocery

Cub Shorewood on Highway 7 is seeking a dedicated individual for a part-time overnight grocery stock position. This role focuses on maintaining product availability, freshness, and a clean shopping environment while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Complete stocking assignments within allotted time
• Handle product carefully to avoid damage
• Use proper case cutting technique
• Ensure correct placement of stock on shelves
• Rotate and face product to maintain freshness and minimize waste
• Perform clean-up of sales floor and back room
• Assist customers with questions or requests
• Operate equipment such as scanners, registers, and intercoms

Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment for times when direct supervision may not be available
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions

Schedule

• Varied weekly shifts between 10 PM and 6 AM

Pay

Compensation is based on a progressive union scale. Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, and requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
