Part Time Overnight Donut Fryer

About the role

Cub Brooklyn Park North is seeking a part-time overnight donut fryer to join their team. The position involves preparing, baking, and frying a variety of donuts and finishing them with frosting, glaze, or icing to ensure quality and consistency.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and fry products
• Finish baked or fried product (frost, glaze, icing, etc.)
• Assist in wrapping or bagging product
• Rotate and stock finished product to fill product gaps
• Aid in answering customer questions or requests

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (donut sticks, hopper, fryer, screens, icing warmer, spatula, knives, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment required for handling situations without immediate supervision
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age and older

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions

Schedule

Variated weekly shifts between 10pm-8am

Compensation

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
