Job Overview
Cub White Bear Lake South is seeking a part-time Bakery Fryer.
About the Role
The Bakery Fryer is responsible for preparing and frying batter, finishing fried products, rotating and stocking bakery products, assisting customers, and working in various temperatures and wet surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Performs baking and product preparation
- Prepares and fries batter
- Finishes fried products
- Rotates and stocks bakery products
- Plans, sets, and maintains bakery cases
- Affords assistance to customers with questions or requests
- Affords assistance in wrapping or bagging products
Requirements
- Equipment operation (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.)
- Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- Able to work in various temperatures and wet surfaces
- Requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
- Requires good judgment for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
- Has the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age and older
Physical Requirements
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
- Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
Schedule
Morning hours preferred. Weekend availability required.

Pay
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
