Part Time Overnight Cashier

Job Overview

Cub Rochester East is seeking a part-time overnight cashier to join their team!

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers and maintain positive customer relations
• Perform product scanning and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure proper handling of all forms of tender and coupons
• Absorb and resolve voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions and requests
• Support front-end maintenance and cleaning

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.)
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• On-going customer interaction and providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment for handling situations without immediate supervision
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Capable of working varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age and older

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions

Schedule

Variably scheduled shifts between 10:00pm - 6:00am, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual pay will depend on a number of factors, including education, experience, training, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
