Part-Time Ordinance Enforcement Officer located at the State College Municipal Building.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $22.00.

Schedule

Mid August – Thanksgiving: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 5‑hour days (8 AM–1 PM). Thanksgiving – Mid August: Monday–Thursday, 5‑hour days (8 AM–1 PM), with occasional weekends incorporated at the end of April, beginning of May, and Arts Fest Weekend.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Borough ordinances regarding property maintenance, sidewalks, refuse, dogs, and housing complaints.
• Assist in the enforcement of Borough public health and safety regulations.
• Perform work under minimal supervision, using initiative and independent judgment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; supplemented by one or more years of ordinance enforcement experience, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• Ability to perform each of the established essential functions of the job.

Qualifications

• Food Sanitation Training Certification.
