About the Role

The Ecommerce Specialist performs all functions of a Generalist in the online fulfillment warehouse with additional responsibilities, specializing in one or more areas such as Order Picker or Packer/Shipper. This role requires punctuality, accuracy, and a commitment to improving quality and productivity while working safely.

Responsibilities

  • Order Picker:
    • Efficiently locate and pick all product associated with guest orders or designated transfers to other retail store locations.
    • Maintain an acceptable volume of production.
    • Ensure accurate item picking into the correct order tote.
    • Work in assigned area for 8 hours or more per day without rotation.
  • Other Specialist Functions:
    • Effectively utilize computer systems, Bluetooth and RF scanners, and other warehouse technologies.
    • Induct product into auto-folder/bagger system.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area and replenish supplies as needed.
    • Perform duties that may vary based on scheduled shift.
    • Show proficiency in Generalist duties and assist with them as needed.
    • Facilitate the movement of product throughout the warehouse, including unpacking, tagging, bagging, and locating.
    • Complete blind audits verifying storage bin location and contents for inventory management.
    • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned in either distribution or online fulfillment warehouses.
    • Travel between warehouses during a shift if required by business need.
    • Uphold the company’s mission by performing job duties with a high level of customer service and contributing to a positive team spirit.

Schedule

Shifts are available Monday through Friday with flexible start times and an end time of 9 p.m. Saturday shifts are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with 3 out of 4 Saturdays required per month.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours or more, walk, use hands to finger/handle, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 60 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights on a multilevel mezzanine and able to climb multiple levels of stairs daily.
  • Regularly required to bend, twist, and turn at the waist.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
