Part-Time Oral Surgery Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment
• Ensure patient comfort and provide pre- and post-operative instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols
• Support efficient patient flow throughout surgery days

Qualifications

• Previous experience assisting an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon is required
• Strong knowledge of oral surgery instrumentation and procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
• Preferred: IV Sedation Certification (not required)
