(PART-TIME or PER DIEM) Caregivers - CNA, HHA, PCA - Weekdays or Weekend Shifts - Bridgeport, CT

Location: Bridgeport, CT & surrounding towns

Schedule

Candidates must be available for either weekday or weekend shifts.

Pay

$21 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, non-medical, quality care based on the client’s plan of care, including activities of daily living such as personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, medication reminders).
• Companion care and supervision (e.g., conversation, hobbies and activities, shopping, driving to appointments).
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Ensure client safety and comfort.
• Work with minimal supervision, maintaining a professional relationship with the client in accordance with company policies and standards.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned on the personal care service plan.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred (CNA/HHA is a plus).
• A love for the senior community.
• Compassionate and upbeat attitude and professional demeanor.
• Strong commitment to reliability and dependability.
• Self-directed, with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in caregiving for seniors.
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, auto insurance, and a reliable, well-maintained car.
• Current State ID and a valid second form of ID (e.g., Social Security Card, Passport, or Birth Certificate).
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a background check and drug testing per company standards.
