About the Role

Collaborative Home Care currently has immediate openings for part-time positions in Stamford area. This role offers the opportunity to assist multiple clients, providing flexible scheduling and the chance to gain diverse experience working with different care needs.

Responsibilities

- Provide hands-on, non-medical, quality care to clients. - Implement the plan of care for clients, including activities of daily living such as personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, medication reminders). - Offer companion care and supervision (e.g., conversation, hobbies and activities, shopping, driving to appointments). - Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation. - Remind clients about medication schedules. - Ensure client safety and comfort. - Maintain a professional relationship with clients, family members, and colleagues. - Perform other duties as assigned on the personal care service plan.

Qualifications

- Previous caregiving experience preferred (CNA/HHA is a plus). - Compassionate and upbeat attitude. - Strong commitment to reliability and dependability. - Self-directed, capable of working independently. - Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms. - At least 2 years of caregiving experience for seniors. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle. - Current State ID and a valid second form of identification (e.g., Social Security Card, Passport, Birth Certificate). - Eligible to work in the United States for any employer. - Background check and drug testing required.
