About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care, ensuring positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practices. Working under general supervision, the RN coordinates patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care.
- Analyzing medical history, diagnostic results, and current status to develop individualized care plans.
- Preparing and administering medications and treatments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Reconciling medical records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions to meet care goals.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for effective care planning.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience required; specialty experience preferred.
- Current RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state, along with BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider).
