Job Summary

FirstLight Home Care of Guilford and of Jacksonville, NC is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial client assessments and develop individualized Care Plans
  • Perform ongoing supervisory visits to ensure quality and continuity of care
  • Monitor client conditions and adjust care plans as needed
  • Provide education and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and best practices
  • Document assessments, visits, and care updates accurately and timely
  • Lead and participate in care conferences and team meetings
  • Support caregiver development through coaching, training, and supervision
  • Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and care teams
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts
  • Assist with on-call support (nights/weekends/holidays, as needed)

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • 2+ years of home care experience
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong documentation habits
  • Comfortable navigating regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to lead calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in a home care setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
