Part-Time Optometrist (Escondido Eyecare) - Escondido, CA

About the role

You’ll work alongside a dedicated team and have access to modern diagnostic equipment, including Optos with OCT, autorefractors, digital lensometer, FDT visual field, slit lamp, phoropter, and BIO. Patients also benefit from a curated optical selection, on-site lab, and access to eye drops and vitamins for their visual needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations
• Provide medical and emergency eye care
• See an average of 10-12 patients per day
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and prevention

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour break at 1:00 PM)
• OR
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour break at 1:00 PM)

Requirements

• California Optometry license
• TPA certification
• Bilingual in Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• Glaucoma certification

Pay

For 8-hour days, we offer $550 guaranteed, plus 18% of production over $2,500.

For 7-hour days, we offer $480 plus 18% of production over $2,200.
