About the role
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part‑Time Optometrist (OD) to provide preventive and comprehensive eye care to seniors in underserved communities in Greensboro and Winston‑Salem, North Carolina. This is a clinic‑based role, 3–4 days a month, with no weekends and flexibility on which days you work. You’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community‑focused setting — meaningful, mission‑driven work with strong pay and schedule consistency, without the overhead and administrative burden of running your own practice.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and preventive vision assessments
- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
- Deliver patient‑centered care in a structured outpatient setting
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active North Carolina optometry license
- Experience treating senior populations preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
Schedule
- 3–4 days per month across Greensboro and Winston‑Salem
- Weekdays only, flexible on which days
- Typical hours: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
- No nights or weekends
- No billing or administrative responsibilities
