Part Time Operations Support Associate

As an Operations Support Associate at Polo Ralph Lauren, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations in our retail stores.

Responsibilities

Responsible for various aspects in store from receiving deliveries, and processing the merchandise per company guidelines, to store recovery and supporting the needs of the selling floor. Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and processing merchandise
• Store recovery and supporting the needs of the selling floor
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the stock room
• Assisting the sales floor personnel by completing stock checks and delivering merchandise
• Supporting inventory levels on the sales floor and stock room per company guidelines

Requirements

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel, as well as the ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cash-wrap and office. Additional requirements include:

• Ability to work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers

Skills

Back of house experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment is preferred. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

The Operations Support Associate is primarily a non-selling role; however, this can shift as business dictates. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to the needs of the business and able to prioritize tasks to meet the needs of the store.
