Key Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care and telephone triage based on established standards
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assisting with clinical procedures and patient teaching
- Administering medications, including hazardous drugs, with technical proficiency
- Performing authorized technical procedures such as EKG, phlebotomy, and IV management
- Assessing patient needs, supporting self-management, and promoting health behaviors
- Using clinical expertise to monitor and manage patient health across specific populations
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse license in the relevant state in good standing
- At least 1 year of oncology or hospital experience
- Strong IV skills, including mediport access
- Prioritize B.S.N.
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with chemotherapy drugs
Additional Details
- Work 24 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, between 8am-5:30pm
