Part-Time On-Air Personality (KOIT)

About the role

Connoisseur Media in the Bay Area is seeking a Part-Time On-Air Programming Personality to join their growing team. This role involves serving as fill-in talent for full-time air staff, hosting live on-air shifts, recording and producing commercials, and representing the station at events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as fill-in talent for full-time air staff during vacations, sick days, and other absences on 96.5 KOIT (AC)Voice track weekends on 96.5 KOIT (approximately 5 hours per week).
• Host live on-air shifts that inform, entertain, and connect with listeners.
• Record and deliver engaging voice-tracked air shifts.
• Create memorable on-air content that is entertaining, local, and relevant.
• Follow station formats, clocks, and programming guidelines.
• Operate broadcast automation, audio editing, and scheduling systems.
• Represent the station at remote broadcasts, community events, and promotional appearances.
• Support digital content efforts through social media and website contributions.

Requirements

• Must be living in the Bay Area.
• Must have previous on-air radio experience.
• Strong communication, storytelling, and audience engagement skills.
• Must be an AFTRA member or be willing to join AFTRA.
• Adequate voice, timing, and show preparation abilities.
• Audio production and editing experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A genuine passion for radio, Country music, entertainment, and local community involvement.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a fully insured personal vehicle.
