Part-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant

Job Summary Provides therapeutic occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed therapist, following a written plan of care to achieve specific goals. Participates in discharge planning, including patient and family education, follow-up, and referrals to community resources. Contributes to staff and student development and engages in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery. Produces reports as needed and maintains professional communication of progress. May supervise clinical students, support staff, assistants, technicians, and volunteers. Delivers compassionate care that promotes health and healing, performing additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Deliver treatment under supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.Provide discharge planning information, patient/family education, and community resource referrals.Support staff and student development initiatives.Participate in activities to enhance healthcare quality.Complete assigned goals efficiently. Qualifications & Skills Computer literacy and basic skills required; advanced skills preferred.Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the practice state.BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
