Part Time Nursing Adjunct Professors / Instructors / Teachers

About the role

Bryant & Stratton College is seeking day shift Adjunct Professors for our Nursing Programs. We have 17 campuses, plus an online division throughout New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of nursing courses including Community Critical Care, Fundamental Lab, Geriatrics, Med Surg, Mental Health, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Pharmacology.
• Develop and maintain course materials and resources.
• Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices and trends.
• Assist with curriculum development and revision.
• Contribute to the college’s mission of providing quality education to students.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
• Experience teaching in higher education preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Experience with educational technology.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
