Department: Advance Practice Providers | Location: Midland-Odessa, TX

About the Role

The Aspire Advanced Practice Provider is a vital part of our clinical staff in our mission to cure patients who suffer from allergies and sinus problems. They will deliver a memorable experience for our patients with each interaction, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction are top of mind. They will practice precision in providing allergy testing and treatment to patients 2 years old and above. They will share responsibility with their peers and the clinical team to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and exemplify integrity in everything they do.

Schedule

  • Wednesday/Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
  • Flexibility: Must be available to provide coverage in both Midland and Odessa clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories focused on allergy and sinus conditions.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic and sinus conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and asthma.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including allergy testing, sinus CT scans, and pulmonary function tests.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, immunotherapy, and procedural recommendations.
  • Perform and assist with in-office procedures such as:
    • Administration and supervision of allergy immunotherapy (SCIT and SLIT)
    • Nasal endoscopy
  • Educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and medication use.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in EHR within 24 hours of their visit.
  • Oversee and manage both food and environmental allergy testing for patients using Percutaneous Allergy Skin Testing and Intracutaneous Allergy Testing.
  • Provide pre-op and post-op evaluation and treatment after surgeon-performed sinus procedures.
  • Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community.
  • Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship rep to help garner credibility and market Aspire.
  • Adhere to standard metrics:
    • Testing: 50% minimum threshold
    • Treatment: 30% minimum threshold
    • IOP Conversion: 7% minimum threshold
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of practicing as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
  • Graduate from an approved Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with an EMR/EHR system
