Part-Time Nurse Aide

About the Role

Responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to patients under supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring patient safety and promoting their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient hygiene, feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Document patient care accurately
• Respond promptly to call lights
• Support patient evacuation if needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies and regulations
• Exhibit professionalism, patience, enthusiasm, and good judgment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrolled in a State-approved CNA program (up to four months)
• CPR certification (obtained upon hire or during orientation)

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to lift, move, and transport patients (up to 35 lbs)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and safety procedures
