Part-Time Nocturnist Critical Care Physician

About the role

Intermountain Health is seeking a Nocturnist Critical Care physician to join a team of experienced intensivists at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU as an equal member of multi-disciplinary teams supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients.
• Practice at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, with scheduled hours of 5pm-7:30am, 5-6 nightshifts per 4-weeks (part-time, 0.5 FTE).
• Care for a 16-bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU, including medical patients, general surgery, trauma (Level II ASC Trauma Hospital Accreditation), hematologic malignancies, and bone marrow transplant patients.
• Participate in a shared-services critical care model supported by critical care advanced practice providers.
• Potential for up to 0.5 FTE nocturnist tele critical care availability.
• Work in the new building scheduled to open in Downtown SLC in 2030.

Requirements

• Pulmonary and Critical Care trained.
• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

• Experience with advanced critical care interventions.

We provide a competitive compensation package including a $240,000 annual base salary and incentives such as a $15,000 starting bonus and up to $10,000 relocation bonus (if applicable). Pay

The hourly range for this position is $7.25 - $999.99, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours are 20, with scheduled hours of 5pm-7:30am, 5-6 nightshifts per 4-weeks (part-time, 0.5 FTE).
