Part-time NJTSS Coordinator

Anticipated part-time 10-month position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Valid NJDOE instructional certification.
• In-depth knowledge of the New Jersey Tiered System of Supports (NJTSS), evidence-based tiered interventions, and progress-monitoring practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate instructional practices.
• Ability to coordinate, implement, and monitor tiered academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support systems.
• Strong assessment, data-analysis, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze student-performance data and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention plans.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with administrators, teachers, interventionists, support staff, and families.
• Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.
• Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and monitor tiered academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support systems.
• Analyze student-performance data and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention plans.
• Collaborate effectively with administrators, teachers, interventionists, support staff, and families.

Pay

Starting salaries: Step 1BA - $73,699 and Step 1MA - $81,804, prorated based on hours worked in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
