Part Time Night RN (PCU)

About the role

Seeking a Cardiac Med Intermediate RN - Weekender to provide patient care in a fast-paced intermediate unit, also known as PCU, specializing in cardiac and respiratory patients. The role involves utilizing the nursing process and conceptual framework to coordinate and deliver care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients
• Collaborating with other departments
• Managing a mix of cardiac, respiratory, and other critical conditions that are beyond floor care but not requiring ICU-level intervention

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in the state or eligible for licensure through a compact
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
