Job Description and Position Requirements

Night Building Assistants, or NBAs, are student workers through the Student Leadership and Involvement office. Their primary responsibility is to provide support for clubs and organizations holding events after normal business hours. This typically involves IT/AV assistance but can vary based on each event. NBAs are required to be scheduled for all activities held by LEB or Lion Ambassadors where an SLI Staff member is not present. When there are no scheduled events, they are expected to make rounds to the various club offices, maintain/organize the SGA closet, and remove outdated event posters and flyers around campus. Night and weekend hours are required.

Background Checks/Clearances

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies.

Campus Security Crime Statistics

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those regarding alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
