Part Time Neurologist

About the role

We are seeking a Part-Time Neurologist to provide outpatient neurology services at our Bronx location. This is an ideal opportunity for a neurologist seeking supplemental clinical work, including neurohospitalists, academic physicians, or those with existing practice commitments. The organization has a longstanding need for neurology services and is looking to avoid referring a large volume of patients externally, particularly those with seizure and epilepsy-related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurology care at the Bronx clinic.
• Manage epilepsy and seizure disorders within the patient population.
• Maintain a consistent weekly schedule of 1-2 clinic days.
• See an average of approximately 7-13 patients per day.
• Conduct standard visits of roughly 40 minutes each.
• Opportunity to build a long-term presence within the clinic.
• Cover Bronx neurology needs while existing neurologist covers Brooklyn and Staten Island locations.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Active New York medical license or ability to obtain.
• Interest in outpatient neurology practice.
• Comfortable treating a broad range of neurological conditions, including seizure and epilepsy patients.
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule of 1-2 clinic days.

Pay

Annualized equivalent of roughly $400,000 full-time compensation. Potential additional income available separately through an affiliated radiology group for physicians interested in interpretation/reading work (reading responsibilities are not required for this position).

Schedule

Flexible schedule: 1-2 days per week, any weekday (Monday‑Friday) available.
