About the role

Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in‑home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout the greater Seattle, WA area. This part‑time nanny position offers daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers.
• Support feeding, naps, and daily routines.
• Encourage learning through reading, play, and age‑appropriate activities.
• Communicate with parents about their child’s day.
• Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow.
• Work with vetted local families.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of infant childcare experience (experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings).
• Love working with infants and toddlers.
• Dependable and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills with parents and children.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to provide at least two childcare references and one character reference.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Pay

$22‑$26 per hour plus overtime pay.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday availability preferred.
• Most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• Typical shifts are 6–9 hours.
