About the role

The role involves providing comprehensive childcare services in a family setting. Responsibilities include meal preparation, daily supervision, and ensuring the child’s safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and serving meals to the child
• Daily supervision and care of the child
• Ensuring the child’s safety and well-being at all times
• Engaging in educational activities to support the child’s development

Requirements

• Valid New York State Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Certificate
• Experience with children aged 2-12 years old
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in childcare or similar field
• Passing an FBI background check

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of child development stages
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
