Responsibilities
- Carry out the NYS music curriculum
- Develop lesson plans to be submitted weekly
- Teach general styles of music
- Incorporate musical instruments and movement in lessons
- Teach students liturgical hymns
- Conduct productions and performances, including the Lower School Christmas pageant and Spring Concert for Upper School
- Prepare students for school concerts and planned music experiences
- Communicate well with parents
- Create an enjoyable learning environment to inspire young minds and help them grow in appreciation of music
- Utilize technology to enhance music instruction
Requirements
- Knowledge of liturgical hymns
- Experience with conducting productions/performances
- Strong knowledge of technology for music instruction
- Google Classroom experience
Pay
Salary range is $177 - $261 per diem, depending on degree.
