Qualifications

  • Ability to interact with patients of all ages (Age Specific Training)
  • Rad Safety Policy Review
  • Customer Service - follows AIDET
  • Possess knowledge of MRI equipment and pre-exam screening requirements within 3 months of hire date
  • Computer literate with ability to understand PACS, CR/DR, HIS/RIS Systems
  • Demonstrated organization and time management skills
  • Possess knowledge of cross section anatomy
  • Ability to critique images against measurable criteria as established by Radiology Department Standard Operating Procedures
  • Capable of independent judgment; does not require direct supervision for technical detail
  • IV insertion competency (if applicable)
  • Ability to administer IV/oral contrast as directed by Radiologist (if applicable)

Licenses & Certifications Required

  • ARRT Certification
  • CPR Certification
