Part Time Merchandiser - Wilmington, OH

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase our product in various retail locations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills to manage inventory and display products.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets as needed
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including weekends and major holidays

Pay

The starting pay is $12.60 per hour, increasing to $13.30 after 6 months and $14.00 after 1 year of employment. Pay rates may vary based on work location.

Schedule

The weekly average hours are 9 hours, which may increase to 17 hours per week around holidays. Ideal candidates should be available during daytime hours, particularly Monday mornings, and be prepared to work additional days and hours leading up to and following major holidays.
