Part Time Merchandiser - Jonesboro, AR

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase our product in various retail locations. The ideal candidate will work independently to manage inventory, display products, and assist with store operations.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet
• Work on your own and with a team

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends, the day before and after major holidays

Physical Demands

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures of up to 40 pounds
• Stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the workday
• Use a stepstool to complete some tasks

Pay and Schedule

The starting pay is $12.60 per hour with increases to $13.30 after 6 months and $14.00 after 1 year. Flexible work scheduling is offered.
