About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help customers celebrate holidays and special moments by showcasing our products in retail locations. The role involves merchandising and organizing product displays, maintaining inventory levels, and interacting with store associates and management.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner with and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary. Training provided
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Ability to meet scheduling needs, including weekends and major holidays

Benefits

We offer a competitive starting pay of $16.20 per hour with increases after 6 months and 1 year of employment. We also provide paid training, a 401(k) with company match, and flexible work scheduling.

Pay

The starting pay is $16.20 per hour with increases to $17.10 after 6 months and $18.00 after 1 year of continued employment. Pay rates may vary based on work location.

Schedule

The weekly average hours are 10 hours per week, with potential increases to 18 hours per week around holidays. Routes service the following locations:
