Part Time Merchandiser - Jacksonville, FL

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase our celebrations products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, and more. Our goal is to make the world a more thoughtful and caring place by celebrating holidays and special moments.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan your weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends, the day before and after major holidays

Pay and Schedule

• Starting pay is $14.00 per hour
• Two increases during the first year of employment
• Flexible work scheduling
• Weekly average hours are 7, increasing to an average of 13 hours per week around holidays
• Available during daytime hours and specifically Monday mornings

Schedule

The route services the following retail locations: 4250 Philips Hwy, Jacksonville, FL, 32207 and 3801 University Blvd W Unit 3. The weekly average hours are 7 hours, increasing to an average of 13 hours per week around holidays. Ideal candidates should be available during daytime hours and specifically Monday mornings.
