Part Time Merchandiser - Conrad, MT

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase and manage inventory levels of our celebrations products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, and more. This role involves independent service of retail locations, merchandising, organizing, and maintaining product displays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary, training provided
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and major holiday periods

Qualifications

• Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and carry merchandise and fixtures up to 40 pounds
• Standing, walking, stooping, and squatting throughout the workday
• Ability to use a stepstool for certain tasks

Pay & Schedule

The starting pay is $13.50 per hour with increases to $14.30 after 6 months and $15.00 after 1 year. Flexible work scheduling is offered. We provide paid training and a 401(k) with company match.

Schedule

The weekly average hours are 1 hour, with potential increases to 2 hours around holidays. The route services 600 S Main Street, Conrad, MT, 59425.
